This is a prayer vigil that is conducted every January, typically the Friday closest to January 22nd, the date the Roe vs. Wade decision was handed down by the Supreme Court. This is a 30 - 40 minute service held at our Daviess County Courthouse at NOON. It is an opportunity to pray for those families that have been affected by abortion and an opportunity to pray for our country. We also provide pro-life legislative updates.
The date for 2012 is January 20th.

Our Speaker this year will be Father Frank Pavone. Pastor Pavone is the National Director of Priests for Life, a family of ministries that reach and enrich every aspect of the pro-life movement, for clergy and laity alike, in a wide variety of activities. This has come to pass precisely because priests are not ordained for themselves, but for the people. So in activating clergy, we are activating all the segments of the Church, the pro-life movement, and the wider society in the defense of life.
We will need table sponsors this year. Please let us know if you are willing to host a table.
